The acceptance of a smartphone application for disaster: technology acceptance model approach

Abstract This paper aimed to investigate user acceptance toward the smartphone-based disaster application namely SIDINA through technology model (TAM). study was conducted in Pati regency, Central Java Province 2019. A cross-sectional survey by distributing questionnaires village leaders or apparatus villages that experiencing floods Pati. Purposeful sampling selected as a method with size of many 87 people. The results analysis prove perceived usefulness (PU) and ease use (PEOU) had significant effect on intention (IU) app. Perceived became probably main determinant using Meanwhile, having several technical limitations (not user-friendly) reduced it. suggested local government particular developers overcome barriers later, intensify promotion app society.
